Daikin error codes: what they mean and what to do
Your Daikin has stopped and shows a code — or the LED is blinking. This is the table we use ourselves, translated to human: what it means, what you can try without tools, and when to call.

How to read the code on a Daikin
On most domestic Daikin remotes: hold the Cancel button (or Check, depending on series) for about 5 seconds — the display enters diagnostic mode and cycles codes; on the one matching the active fault, the unit gives a long beep. Units with an indoor display show the code directly. Note it in full (letter + number): the letter identifies the subsystem, the number the specific fault.

The proper reset (which sometimes fixes it)
Before calling anyone, the reset that actually works: cut the AC's breaker at the electrical panel (the remote is not enough), wait 5 minutes for the electronics to discharge, and re-arm. If the code was a one-off protection (a micro-cut, a storm, a spike), the unit comes back clean. If the code returns within minutes or hours, it is real: note it and message us — with the code and model we usually give a guide diagnosis by message, free.

My Daikin shows U0 — can I keep using it?
Better not: U0 means refrigerant shortage, and a compressor running short of gas damages itself — the cheap fault (recharge after fixing the leak) becomes the expensive one (compressor). Switch off and message us.
Is code A3 serious?
It is one of the kind ones: a blocked condensate drain or a stopped pump. Normally solved in one visit (from €60) with a pressure flush — and prevented by the annual clean.
Why does my Daikin run but blink the LED?
Some warnings do not stop the unit: dirty filters, recommended maintenance or a logged minor fault. Read it with the remote procedure and send us the code — we tell you whether it is urgent or can wait for the annual check.
